The Dark Knight (No Spoilers) And Trailers

First off, right off the bat, pun intended, I want to say GO SEE THE DARK KNIGHT. It was fantastic, and the acting of Heath Ledger was even better than I imagined.. And the way it was written, I am sure I wasn’t the only one in the theatre that was starting to be convinced about what Joker was trying to do, that maybe he would make the world a better place. *Cough* Anywho, it was awesome, and the ending was of course ambiguous, which means (drum Roll) There will be a third. Title? Unknown. After the credits there is no extra footage, and it doesn’t say anything along the lines of “Batman will return in:….” like in the Bond Films.

Now then, there were two trailers at the start of the show where I was, two new(to me) trailers.

“Watchmen” (March 6th 2009 Release) is a movie based on a graphic novel (comic book…) but not just any comic. This is THE comic. It has won more awards than all other comics combined. It has won literary awards that no other comics have been considered for. It was 12 issues, that can now be found as one collection, and it is the standard for all other graphic novels to try (and fail) to live up to.

All the characters are based on other comic book characters (Batman isn’t one… even though there is a similar costume.)

Also, there was a preview for “Body Of Lies”(October 10th, 2008 Release) something I won’t post here, because I honestly think the movie won’t be a huge success. But I think it will be a great film. So.
