A Different Shade Of Odd

Here I sit in front of a screen. A small, a tiny, a glowing screen. On the other side of the screen what I say might be different, because how things appear on my screen might not be the same on another. My words might be the same, sure, but the meanings might be different. My pictures might be a different shade of odd. Things I post might make people laugh, not because they are funny, but because they are true, but I assure you, they are not true. Unless they are, but who’s to judge the truth? Can’t be me. Better not be me. Better be someone who is more qualified, who has taken classes, who is capable of separating nonsense from the truth. Someone who is able. But who taught him how to be able? Where are these classes held? Where did he learn? Maybe someone told him to question things, maybe he questioned that advice. I would. I mean you must have a lot of nerve telling me to question everything, what are you, some sort of conspiracy buff? You know just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean people aren’t after you. Why wouldn’t they be after you? You’re a smart, decently attractive individual. Sure. No really. Alright don’t believe me. Question me too. Question everything, because in the end the only thing you will never believe is in yourself. That’s for sure. Get a job. Get a girl. Get a house and get her a ring. Get her pregnant. Get her everything she wants, then get a divorce. Give her your house, and most of the money from the job. Let her keep the rings, you’re a nice guy. Let her pawn them. She doesn’t need the money, but she doesn’t need the rings either. That’s life right? Build you up, break you down. Replace the old with the new and only revisit it as a novelty. Enjoy old nintendo games, enjoy old movies, enjoy old board games, enjoy old pictures of when “life was good”. Even though life has always been the same. Just a different shade of Odd.
